Any candidate who has passed the MBBS exam, and has completed his internship with a registration certificate from the State Government or concerned authority, is eligible to do the certificate course.

By Email: You may send us the duly filled registration form with scanned documents and certificates as attachment. Once we confirm your eligibility we may ask you to send us physical certified copies of the same for our records.

The Certificate in diabetes Management, being a totally audio-visual based online learning Program, doesn’t involve much book reading and is easier to understand and learn. This program is for upgrading skills and it is very important for professionals with experience to get updated on the latest techniques, tools and research work in the field.

One module consisting of several sub-topics will be delivered to your log in at each scheduled date. Each candidate is expected to study the material and take the test at the end of each module. Each test contributes to the overall result so it is mandatory to take every test. The next module will not be delivered until the test for the previous one is taken, so avoid losing precious time by completing every module and test on time. The course has to be completed within the stipulated time for certification.

On an average a doctor would spend approximately 4 months on study of modules: (1 month per module). It is expected that a doctor-student would spend 4 to 5 hrs weekly to understand and learn the study material in the online modules.

Yes, the entire modular learning and special case discussion is completed in 4 months. One day is reserved for the final online examination.

Unfortunately, currently there is no provision to pay in installments and no provision for refunds. The full fee has to be paid in advance.

If 5 or more candidates register from a single institution, there is a provision for an institutional discount. A sponsoring hospital/ institute/ body or company may be allowed to sponsor a candidate subject to certain conditions. Please contact or email the course administrator for details.

An Indian resident has to pay in Indian rupees and any candidate residing outside India must pay in USD equivalent to of the fees charged.

On successful completion of the course the candidate gets :

• • Certification from Balabhai Nanavati Hospital and Quexst Healthcare.
• • Knowledge sharing with experts and fellow professionals during the special case discussion series.

The Certificate after completion of this course is awarded as recognition of specialist knowledge. It is awarded only to Registered Medical Graduates and Practitioners, who have an unrestricted license for general practice of Medicine and Surgery in their home state / country of qualification and current residence, as added qualification after satisfactory completion of the course, clinicals, and examination. Please note that the Certificate awarded by Balabhai Nanavati Hospital and Quexst Healthcare is NOT a registerable qualification with the General Medical Council (UK) or the Medical Council of India (MCI) and by itself does not offer a License to practice Diabetology. Any candidate who enrolls for the course using fraudulent documentation/ certificates and/ or references will be liable to criminal prosecution and legal action, which may include cancellation of his/her license to practice medicine.

We recommend the following specifications for access of training material :

• • Pentium-IV or higher specification computer.
• • A minimum RAM of 51 MB.
• • A 17 inch Color monitor is ideal.
• • Operating Systems should be Windows XP or Vista.
• • A Broadband connection.
• • Internet Explorer version 6.0 or above is recommended.

Support back-up is available 24 x 7 for answering any queries via phone or mails. The operations of the portal are very simple, and made keeping in mind the target user, a busy doctor who should spend more time studying course material rather than learning to use the portal.

Balabhai Nanavati Hospital and Quexst Healthcare (together) will issue admission letters and all certification to successful candidates on satisfactory completion of the course.

MCI does NOT recognize any Certification Program; therefore this is a Certification Program which adds value to your existing Medical Qualification and Credentials.

This is a web-based learning program for candidates already undergoing or having completed a specialized course of study in this field after graduating in Medicine. This certification helps doctors to refresh and update their knowledge in a programmed manner. The certificate program does not have hands-on sessions, however the case based lectures provide extensive hands-on knowledge. The doctor would get Hands On experience while doing the Fellowship / Masters programs , which are planned to be launched soon.
